About
Charlotte
Homes:
The Average Single Family Home Sale in the Charlotte region (Dec 2006) was $ 219,681. But we
have available housing (Condo/Townhome and Single Family) from under $100,000 on up into the
millions. Charlotte and the surrounding counties have many fine neighborhoods, but if you enjoy life a bit more on
the rural side, you won't have to travel far at all to find country-type
real
estate you can call your own.
About
Home Search:
From the
comfort of your home or office 24x7, my Charlotte homes search
(Home
Search) gives you access to the Charlotte real estate market
(Charlotte and the surrounding counties). My MLS Maps link
works well with the Charlotte homes search, as you can quickly see the
location (area of town) for each house. What a great way to become familiar
with the Charlotte real estate market! Both online and in
person, I'll provide you a selection of Charlotte homes that meet
your needs and wishes.
Charlotte Homes in the
City.
Developers in the Charlotte real estate market have recently
increased the emphasis on the uptown, dotting the skyline with condominium growth in all price ranges. The
February 2007 MLS shows the following: Under $220,000 - 30 (mostly 1
bedroom) condos available or pre-selling; Under 250,000 -- another 30.
Approximately 55 two-bedroom units in the $250-400,000 range,
with 30 of them below $335,000. And of course, 'high end'' offerings
starting at $500,000 + up and units in excess of 2000 square feet.
I
know Charlotte isn't NYC, Chicago, Los Angeles, or San Francisco, but can you imagine owning a home in
your current city for the price of these Charlotte homes ??? (And, as an
added bonus, our NFL and NBA teams play their
games right there, just a walk away.) Wonder what kind of market is
anticipated in uptown for condos? We have a thirty-six story condo (due
in 2007) that is already 92% sold and a fifty-one storied condo
presently under construction, due 2008. Another 33 story condo, just
announced, is also slated for completion in 2008. Concerned about being
too far from the airport? Don't be, our airport's only ten miles away.
